Cosplay Contest

Calling all cosplayers of all ages! You’ve put in the effort and everyone wants to see it. Come out and show off your hard work! We want to see you in your costumes and owning the characters you represent! So come ready to show off your poses that focuses on the character immersion you are representing! We are here to have fun, so let’s show them what you got!

• The cosplay contest has two categories – junior and adult; awards in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This is a solo cosplay contest, no group category.

Rules

All ages welcome to join. The cosplay contest has two categories – junior and adult.

All costumes must be PG13 and follow the Stokes Brown Public Library code of conduct.

Store bought costumes are allowed.

No original characters allowed so that judging can be done on accuracy of costume.

All participants in the cosplay contest must present their cosplay during pre-judging at 12:30 at the Community Room.

Lego Building Contest

An all ages event. 
Drop by the lego room and grab a cup. The staff will set a timer for 15 minutes. Build the most creative thing you can! Leave a name and phone number. After judging, the winners will be given a call to come collect their prize!

Mario Kart Tournament

This event is held in the teen room upstairs. A simple mario kart tournament, the player with the most points wins. First and Second place move on to the next round. Early sign up is available in the teen room.

A princess and superhero themed storytime. Belle and Spidergwen will be reading a few books for the kids which will be followed by a craft in the storytime room.

11:00 | Community Room

Lightsaber training with Master Plo Koon and Anakin. Join us for a short history lesson on the lightsaber and some basic lightsaber techniques.

2:00 | Community Room

A "Just Dance" inspired party featuring songs from the hit netflix movie K-Pop Demon Hunters.

10:00  | Panel Room

A beginners Guide to D&D. Learn how to make a character and pick up some roleplaying tips from the bizarre wizard, Scrunklie.

11:00  | Panel Room

A game panel where you try to guess that pokemon! Winners of each round will get to choose a pokemon card!
